The Straw That Broke Freddys BackBy Alexander-UK (128 reviews) , 02 Jul 2013Probably this and 2nd is the worst of the Freddy Movies. I thought this was the movie which really cried out that the franchise was over and it was time to put Freddy to rest for good. The storyline is weak and the one liners are not as effective and its all to 'used'. A tiring end to a classic franchise.
A little boring!By Smarf (1 review) , 05 Jun 2013This one was probably the worst one with the 2010 remake. Was a little boring. The third one was brilliant.
seriously floggin the dead ponyBy cheesekake (1498 reviews) from uk , 08 Apr 2012not too good either, yes I can understand their reasoning for creating more Freddy series in the films, but they really shouldve left it with the first one.
not a bad film but once you've seen it youv'e seen it
The worst partBy a customer , 03 Aug 2011The first ones are always the best. Part 5 was the most disappointing part of all. It was more of a comedy than a horror.
Time to stop dreaming?By RJNeb2 (1013 reviews) from London , 20 May 2011The film-makers seem to be finding it increasingly difficult to find new wrinkles in this fifth go-round for Freddy Krueger, still slicing and dicing unsuspecting cookie-cutter high school teens. This time the supposedly dead villain is able to come back through the dreams of the unborn baby lurking in his last survivor's womb. But it's still exactly the same as we've had before with some part-fancy part-shoddy special effects to keep us amused, lame old situations (gee, do you think the swim champ at the pool on her own at night will get into trouble?) and some amusing one-liners from Freddy.
