Better than Slumdog?By a customer from Farningham , 06 Jan 2010I'd be surprised if this was a product of mainstream Bollywood, because it had an honesty rarely seen in Indian films. The acting and direction may not be up to Western standards, nor perhaps those of the best Chinese and Japanese, but it was a brutally unvarnished reflection of my old home town and its air-head party society. In many ways this is a more honest film than Slumdog, which got many in India irate because it was seen as the West's attempt to cram it back into the third-world box. India, which is on the verge of becoming an industrial power, does need a more robust film industry which is not afraid to reflect many of the aspects which disfigure Indian life and which the rich manage to ignore. It will be interesting to see how Danny Boyle's Maximum City compares with Page 3.
Page 3By a customer from Halesowen , 16 Jul 2009Had heard that this movie was good but very dissapointed!
Poor actimg (OTT) and very dated indeed! This was the build up film for Fashion.... I think even Fashion was poor and OTT although it had a decent actress in priyanka Chopra.
Avoid this trash!
Page 3By Dupster (9 reviews) from London , 09 May 2009The film is about life style of rich and powerful of India and the woman who is trying to find herself in the heart of it all. It is a very good film, Konkona Sensharma was brilliant as usual.
