Nothing to write home aboutBy dvdlover from gwent , 13 Jan 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]Okay film to rent and watch. Would have been totally disappointed if I'd have bought this film.
Film is extremely low budget with obvious editing and a plot that is very fast and not thought out. Snipes does well as always but I think let down by the budget that was available.

Will do for a Friday Night.By Nedvadead (86 reviews) from Ballymoney , 28 Nov 2010Rented this movie by chance had never heard of it before made a good choice for a change. thought the marksman was good movie usual snipes stuff good shoot em up not a bad plot, although some of the action scenes could have been better. usual Russia versus America thing with as usual the American coming out on top. This film was not like the usual films where the guy gets the girl which made a difference it seemed to be all action from start to finish. Although I had not heard of most of the cast this film to me seemed to be strong and powerful. this film is one that I could let my kids watch as there wasn't that much strong language for a change.
Avoid at all costsBy andy1981 (2 reviews) from Farnborough , 05 Sep 2010I have seen better acting from my 2 year old son. One of the worst films i have ever seen with a story line so average and yet again how great the Americans are. boring boring boring
Plenty of Action and Adventure!!By papanii (60 reviews) from Cambridge , 29 Jul 2009With Russia on the brink of nuclear annihilation, there is only one man who can save it: The Marksman. An elite US Special Forces Operative, he's been ordered to take out a Chechen nuclear power plant before terrorists set off a live reactor...
fast moving but superficialBy chyk (64 reviews) from Neston , 18 Jun 2009action packed with reasonable story line. not a classic but an OK middle of the road film, easy to watch with some good tension.
