[Highly rated reviewer]Good simple watching. Lovely in B&W.
'Carry On Screaming'By a customer from Plymouth , 10 Sep 2008An episodic 'monster mash' that disposes of Dracula after a brief appearance and then becomes about the revival of the Frankenstein monster and the Wolf Man, both frozen in ice after their last picture. It's complete hokum but very entertaining and a superior film to the even-more-cluttered 'House of Dracula'. The added bonus is that this one has Karloff as the chief baddie - a sub-plot of unrequited love and a doomed affair add a little weight to the superficial shennanigans but this is more a celebration of Universal's greatest monsters than anything!
Childhood favouriteBy a customer from Macclesfield , 29 Jul 2008This film really takes me back, and my father and me would watch it together. It really is a childhood favourite. It makes me smile.
