Slow movingBy a customer from Birmingham, UK , 24 Dec 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]If you like films such as Lake Placid you will probably like this one, although it is quite slow moving and you don't really get to grips with the monster until the very end. I'm a creature feature fan but having seen this once, I doubt that I'll ever want to see it again...

Carry on NessieBy a customer , 04 Sep 2011To see the cast wearing cowboy hats and sunglasses under a baking blue sky surprised those of us who have actually been to Loch Ness. Try overcast with a steady drizzle. The only similarity between the lake they used and Loch Ness is that they are both made of water. And HM Coastguards cruising up and down an inland lake dropping depth charges (Hint: there's a clue in the word 'coast'). And the odd looking police vehicles (they probably don't seem odd if you have never seen a British police car). But best of all are the Scottish accents . Hilarious. Totally hilarious. The best film I have seen in ages
Hoots Mon AwfulBy a customer from Cornwall , 10 Dec 2010You honestly wonder how some people have the nerve to release a film! Acting? What acting? Lysette Anthony clearly watched 'Parent Trap' and decided to create a volatile version of the mother - one problem.... it doesn't work at any level. If you want to make the Scots revolt then get them to watch this film. My budgerigar does a better accent. Whoever directed this shambles clearly does not understand the concept of continuity and flow. It was more like the TV series Skippy and Flipper. Hey guys... lets make the film like Jaws and threaten the bathers. I'm sorry, but no sane person would bathe in water that is colder than your freezer. Special effects - I know, let's drag a rubber dinosaur toy from The Early Learning Centre through the water on a fishing line and then blur the picture. Who needs expensive CGI? We can always paint in a creepy looking blue eye! How shall we end the film? 'He's dead.' 'Oh is he? Bye then.' The End. I wish that Nessie had eaten the lot of them, including the director and crew!!
The Evil Beneath Loch NessBy a customer from Glasgow , 27 Feb 2010This film is so bad it's good! We've now watched it several times with a group of friends and a lot of alcohol. Try it! Every time the name 'Gus' or 'Professor Eagan' is mentioned, raise your glass. You'll be drunk in no time..........
Don't botherBy a customer from Somerset, The True Land of Cider, England , 25 Oct 2007Might have been better if there were some Scottish dialects in this film. Do not waste your time.
Ok if you are a Nessy fan.By Trig from Northampton , 10 Jul 2006Just seen this film and I gave it 2 stars. It's not as bad as others are saying in their reviews. Worth watching if you are a Nessy fan.
