Carry On TeacherBy Miriam from Ealing, London , 14 Jun 2009Brilliantly very funny. One of the best of the Carry On films.
The practical jokes the pupils played on the teachers had me bursting with laughter,
particularly the home-made rocket taking off in the Science Lab!
One of the bestBy Babsy (49 reviews) from Reading , 13 Sep 2008Having ploughed through most of the Carry Ons with my children, I have decided that this one is one of my sentimental favourites (the best being 'Screaming').
The black and white'ness serves the crisp, well mannered teachers well. I have to admit to having a soft spot for Ted Ray, in his only outing in Carry On films; especially the final scene, which still brings a lump to my throat.
When describing the film to the children, I think the famous itching powder scene will always be a childhood recall, but interestingly there is an 'extra' joining the familiar cast, as one of the scratching teachers; I wonder if that was his greatest moment in film?
Bring Carry Ons into your children's lives.

funnyBy a customer from Huntingdon , 25 Jan 2008This is a classic carry on film, black and white but still contains the laughs and character of what we all enjoyed.
