Absurd....but I did laugh a number of timesBy JonnieNW3 from London , 10 Feb 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]If you are looking for a deep and meaningful film which debates the human condition then you should be strongly advised that this film is not for you!
In the genre of American Pie, this is a gross out comedy following the response of an LA based woman who is dumped by her male model boyfriend. It is lightweight and bordering on offensive and not politically correct in the slightest.
That said, I did laugh a number of times. One scene when the lead character finds herself in the need of the bathroom whilst at a supermarket is so gross that even Little Britain wouldn't dare go there.
All in all, this is not a great movie and the box office ratings in the US were extremely low. But if you want a throw away comedy it is worth a look. Just don't take it seriously or expect much!

Formulaic and painfulBy lucy1982 (14 reviews) , 19 Dec 2012This is one of the worst films ever. Formulaic and painful. I think it's supposed to be empowering or something but actually it makes women out to be desperate, needy and stupid. Great one MCCarthy.
what a cracker five starsBy michael taylor from skelmersdale , 11 Jul 2009dont let the fact that youve never heard of it put you off. other big budget films with lots of hype are a hell of alot worse. remember the shawshank redemtion?. that never got the hype and what a film that was. open your mind and watch it.
Dirty LoveBy mclanesvest (26 reviews) from Portsmouth , 11 May 2009So awful it's funny. So gross it's cringe-worthy. In a strange kinda backward way it's actually quite enjoyable.
Only recommendation is Victor Webster as eye candy.

Don't botherBy Croydonwhite from Croydon, England , 02 Apr 2009This was a flat disappointment of a film. If you enjoy films in the American Pie Genre avoid this like the plague.
