[Highly rated reviewer]Delon in fine form as well as Quinn. It's a war film 100% that blends the characters into the action very tightly indeed. If you like stuff like Gallipoli this may well be a great one for you.
Tedium GuaranteedBy a customer from London , 28 Nov 2008The editing was terrible, the continuity was terrible and the character development was even more terrible.
This disjointed film is something that you would watch on a Sunday afternoon because you have a hangover and your inflatable doll has a puncture.
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008From French Vietnam to pre revolutionary Algeria a realistic war scenario. The French Para's with The Mighty Quinn as their Colonel backed by Alain Delon and George Segal . No Anthony Quinn fan could ask for anything more.

Lost CauseBy a customer from United Kingdom , 15 Mar 2006Not one of Anthony Quins' best. At best, the acting is pretty plastic and the story is barely believable. Fights scenes are not very realistic and George Segal must have been short of work at the time!!
If you are considering renting it - don't bother
OldieBy a customer from Falkirk , 31 Aug 2005Good film with a lot of the older(now) actors. Enjoyable.
