[Highly rated reviewer]THREE BROTHERS..ONE, A DEBT COLLECTOR FOR THE LOCAL MOB..ONE, A HASBEEN..& THE OTHER A MENTALLY CHALLENGED ICE DELIVERY MAN,DECIDE THEY CAN MAKE A LIVING FROM THE WORLD OF UNDERGROUND WRESTLING..THEY HADN'T RECKONED WITH THE CORRUPTION THAT COMES WITH THE GLORY..THE FILM CHARTS THEIR RISE FROM ITS LOWLY BEGINNINGS AND THE ANGUISH IT CAUSES BETWEEN THE BROTHERS AS THEY BICKER AND FALL OUT OVER WHAT STALLONE SEES AS HIS ELDER BROTHERS 'EASY MAKE A QUICK BUCK OUT OF HIS STUPID BROTHER ' ATTITUDE ..A VERY GOOD / FUNNY/ SAD TYPE OF FILM..WITH PARTICULARLY GOOD ROLES FOR SLY STALLONE / ARMAND ASSANTE..THE MOB LEADER CHARACTER ' STITCH MAHON ' IS HILARIOUS..WATCH IT ..I'M SURE YOU'LL LIKE IT, IN FACT IF YOU WERE A STALLONE KNOCKER BEFORE WATCHING ..YOU JUST MIGHT NOT BE AFTER WATCHING THIS..

paradise alleyBy nelbert43 (13 reviews) from grantham, lincolnshire , 07 Oct 2010i saw this film when it was new and it was not as good as i remembered. its a bit boring. the wrestling scene seemed so much better then perhaps ive been spoilt by modern films
Rags To RichesBy JonTout (8 reviews) from Bristol , 06 Sep 2008As R2R stories go, this was pretty well done.
Stallone & Assante play really well together and it's an impressive directorial debut from the big man.
