The Greatest of All Time
, 31 Jul 2010
This documentary takes us on a journey of Muhammad Ali's sporting and political achievements. Straight up, it was made for the Ali fans who already have an insight to his life and are constantly searching for the documentaries which will show us footage and unravel things about The Greatest which we did not already know.
I have read books, watched the films, seen the documentaries and this still managed to shine a different light on Ali, particularly on his political input and the true significance he held on the whole world.
To anyone who admires the man (and those who don't should) need to see this. I interpreted this doc as a tragic/love/ celebration story of his life, admiring his achievements but also pointing out why he should have retired after The Rumble in the Jungle, but his love for the sport did not disappear; instead it was his speed.
I watched the whole thing laughing at his loud-mouthing, while constantly carrying a lump in my throat while he delivered his moving speeches.
