Scott Wiper is a minor-leaguer, but he still had sufficient clout to write, direct and co-star in this boorish road movie. He's certainly an imposing presence and stages some sequences with blustering bravura. But his talents do not lie in screenwriting. The dialogue consists solely of threats, curses and platitudes, while the story of a disillusioned cop who is mistaken for the quarry of a private eye, the FBI and the Chicago underworld is one long cliché. Moreover, with Lou Diamond Phillips, Joe Pantoliano and Natasha Henstridge in the cast, this is somewhat akin to a who's who of might-have-beens.

    Ok fun

This is nothing to write home about. It's a low budget - ok movie. It isn't worth hiring from here. This will be on sky one day and if you watch it there you won't feel disappointed.

Get value for money. This was part of a run of bad choices - just picking movies willy nilly. It is better to take your time and get good movies.

    Boring

Nothing different about this film at all. Cheap version of a big budget mobster movie. So bored I turned off before the end.
