The story follows 2 girls who were friends at school. Kuem-Sook had a crush on Eun-Hee but it was unrequited. Kuem-Sook ends up in prison for assault and Eun-Hee marries a rich comedian, Doo-Chan, but is unfulfilled. After Kuem-Sook is released they begin an affair and when Doo-Chan finds out, their lives become very complicated.
I rented this because I'm a big fan of Park Chan-Wook (Oldboy etc.) who co-wrote this, although it's not much like any of his other films (and a lot less violent). Although if you've seen the Vengeance trilogy and are looking for his earlier work I would recommend JSA and Humanist over this.
All in all, I thought this film was kind of amusing but quite strange (particularly the scenes on the Moon). The plot had some nice turns although some scenes don't entirely work. Not a bad way to spend an hour and half though.
