This very much the dark side of 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl'. There's not much fun and no rompy larks for the young girl at the centre of this who turns to prostitution to make up the money and keep things together. The main reason to watch it is the central performance by Nina Ivanisin, a new name to me and one I'll look out for again. She perfectly conveys the mixture of hard-neadedness and vulnerability that comprises her character, and makes you care what becomes of her.. It's a well made film, if somewhat dour and dark, and worth seeing.

A painfully slow yet convincingly watchable film that portrays the loneliness and despair experienced by most in today's fast paced, manic world ...
