Nice animation, could have been much better

I found this film quite disappointing. I've seen many versions of A Christmas Carol, and I found this to be one of the least enjoyable. The quality of animation, as has been pointed out in previous reviews was good, and some scenes were impressive. However, I thought that some of the edits to the story disturbed the overall flow, and the frenetic chase-/action-type scenes in the film merely detracted from the story being told - it all seemed a bit too frenetic at times.
