When the family sat down to this film after the first few minutes I think we all thought that this was going to be a waste of time, but we started to enjoy it, it was as if we had stepped back in time, we had decided to watch it on our projector for a change, and with a large screen, and the music following the film, it was a treat.
The plot was very similar to most stories of murder most foul etc, but without any special effects it seemed more real, the barber scene with clever cutaways was expertly done.
It may not be to everyones taste, but for a the length of the film at least it takes you to a era when life it seems was so simple, and the cinema was a experience not to be forgotten.
