I gave this a grudging half-star because the first location was lovely to look at BUT the acting was so wooden and the dialogue so banal that I switched off after 25 minutes, mainly because I couldn't have cared less what happened to any of the characters.
It reminded me of a poor tv adaptation of Billy Bunter. I dare say it might have got better but the chances seemed remarkably slim.
