I rated this film 'Painful' because I couldn't bear to go on watching it, then realised that someone might think I meant 'a painfully bad film'. Hence this review, which is more of an explanation than an evaluation of the film.

It is a vivid re-creation of the Apartheid struggle in South Africa and I chickened out when the demonstrating schoolchildren were fired upon by the police. It was bad enough living through it all as it happened- FOR ME. For people who do not know this part of South Africa's history I suspect it would be essential viewing.
