    [Highly rated reviewer]

I remember enjoying this when it was first on years ago, so thought I'd take a look. Judi Dench and Michael Williams are fine actors, and they help to sell some of the slightly cheesy dialogue.

Very slightly dated, but the characters are still likeable and the situations amusing.

Not exactly laugh out loud side-splitting, but very entertaining.

What lovely trip down memory lane it was sitting watching this. I loved it.

It is still as funny as the first time I watched it many years ago.

Brillant comic timing as always from the great husband and wife team (Dame Judi Dench & the late, but much missed Michael Williams).

This early 80s sitcom has aged quite well - it's better than most current UK comedies.
