Third Time 'Unlucky' ?

....I was so looking forward to the first DVD of this series arriving but found Simon Schama a real 'tough cookie' to listen to in his style and narration... Boring ? - not really but it just didn't do it for me.... The second disc arrived and again after 30 minutes or so I just could not take it and switched off. I feel the subject could have been put over much in a much more defined and interesting way by another person (Dimbleby or even Palin for example...)

I decided to cancel the third DVD but alas I was too late - it's now on its way...

Pity really - it might just be me as many comments on here say this series is a real winner....

Never mind - Perhaps i'm just getting to be a 'grumpy old man'.... ?
