"Close your eyes and tell me what you see?" Nominated as Best Film at the European Film Awards 2004, Lukas Moodysson's courageous and challenging new film takes you on a journey to the deepest, darkest human emotions. Rickard and his painfully shy son and abrasive industrial music enthusiast, Eric, live in a run down Stockholm apartment where Rickard pursues amateur pornography, with friend Geko and seemingly adroit adult actress Tess. Drink flows, inhibitions crumble and behaviour grows more and more disturbing. Like some twisted, compact Marquis de Sade, bedlam erupts as social codes are abandoned entirely and pop psychology, cosmetic surgery, tabloid journalism, class politics, alienation and human emotions are put through the collective wringer of a vicious and technically astonishing visual and aural tour de force.
