By Tom Charity from LOVEFiLM
Michael Winterbottom directing Angelina Jolie in a movie produced by her beau, Brad Pitt? Has Britain's most prolific filmmaker finally sold out and gone Hollywood?

Didn't watch
By Rima (53 reviews) from Cambridge , 06 Mar 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
I couldn't rate this as I turned it off when I realised what the content was. I don't watch films about the atrocities of war. I only got it cos Angelina was in it. Don't let me put you off though. Just not for me.- Was this review helpful to you?

(229)Brillant performance
By Ladygib (8 reviews) , 14 Jun 2013Have become a fan of AJ after watching her in films like this, she plays the part of a distraught wife fighting with all her strength to locate her kidnaped husband. This is the second time I've watched this film and still made me cry. Whether you are interested in the underlying story or the moving tale of a young couple it's a great watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

Very good drama
By Bobsview (559 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 05 Apr 2013True life story of a kidnapped journalist in Pakistan in 2002. I do not usually like Angelina Jolie but she is good in this. Very good. Very moving and emotional. Scary.- Was this review helpful to you?

Could not finish it
By a customer , 20 Sep 2012Dull real life story of a kidnapped reporter in Pakistan. The leading lady Angelina Jolie pouts her way through it displaying, as they say, a full range of emotions from A to B. The story may have been worthy in real life, but it made a very boring film in which nothing much happened.- Was this review helpful to you?

Full of emotion
By Bobby13 (4 reviews) , 08 Jul 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
I thought that this film was good, portraying very sad events which actually happened! I thought the way it filmed gave you a range of emotions from the people involved. The way that Angelina Jolie shows her emotions was very good and believable, you could feel the heartbreak.- Was this review helpful to you?

good grief
By nickthetick (12 reviews) , 05 Feb 2012a film which goes on for far too long, in which nothing, and i mean nothing of any interest happens. 3 people rushing round in cabs and sometimes on the phone does not a film make.- Was this review helpful to you?
