Taut but predictableBy Cato (772 reviews) from Lydbury North , 08 Jan 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]A good thriller, perhaps 20 minutes too long, but the outcome is pretty telescoped early on. Kevin Costner gives an understated but quietly menacing performance as the killer on the run with his captured hostage, played delightfully by TJ Lowther. Well directed by Clint, whose performance is subdued but effective.

Great film, emotional and directed well.By PEDRO1982 (12 reviews) from Shetland , 03 Feb 2011This is a great film to watch on a Sunday when you are most relaxed and you just want to sit back and enjoy.
Great charachter bonding, comical moments through out the film.
Clint takes the back seat in this film, he delievers well.
I just really like how this film made me so emotional, with the sort of story that it is, just great to get that emotions delivered through to the viewer...
Perfect World is goodBy a customer from EXETER , 02 Jan 2011Well worth a watch! Eastwood tackles another part of American society and does well. No doubt he will do it again.
Perfect World a bit imperfectBy Pearson (74 reviews) from Malvern Wells , 04 Nov 2010. Some of the scenes carry real menace whilst others are just silly but still quite engaging. Worth a watch . I like Dirty Harry's directing there is certain something he gives I don't know what but I like it.
A good story well toldBy Sidney (23 reviews) from Stroud , 06 Oct 2010Kevin Costner is a good actor, and here he is doing what he does best. Sheer entertainment, and a good way of spending an empty evening.
Sentimental and ill concieved.By jesuskenevil (246 reviews) from Bruton , 30 Aug 2010So many good reviews......what's going on! From the misjudged comic aspect, by numbers acting and dull plot, this really is a hugely disappointing film. Costner is half decent as Butch but the sentimentality drags this film down low.
