BB actually appears naked in this froglish spy movie. Watch it and join C.I.A. now.

Even for 1964, this is a very dated movie, with a 50's Ealing comedy feel about it.

It has its good moments, but few of them feature either Bardot or young Newlands - parts of the script are clever, witty and well-delivered, but the man who had the idea of casting BB as the ditzy blonde with the crazy (dubbed!) laugh needs help! It just doesn't work. She is ravishingly gorgeous, true enough, but gratingly annoying into the bargain.

The sub-titles feature appalling school-child errors, with mis-translations, spelling mistakes and misunderstandings, suggesting that the translator was reading a script rather than translating the film. The sub-titles are way below par - amateur in the extreme - and are not worthy of ScreenSelect.

It would be polite to say that this film is of interest to those with a passion for the young Bardot and her developing talent, but it would also be untrue. This is a naff film with very few good moments and not worth the effort.

Had I realised that this film was in French and with sub-titles I would never have requested it. As it was, I watched the film for a short period and then gave up. The main reason being that the sub-titles detract your attention from the film action.

    Please give full film descriptions.
