As Ginger would have said 'it helped pay the rent'
By a customer , 01 Mar 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
As an ardent Ginger Rogers fan from way back in the 1940's when I frequently gazed in awe at the silver screen, I rented this film to see how she acquitted herself in this modest film from her 'starlet' days. Sadly it did not do her justice because a) the DVD was of poor film quality and b) the production was a low cost effort with a weak story line. Notwithstanding these setbacks Ginger's appealing personality did hint of better things to come. If LOVE film fans want to be persuaded of her potential acting talents I suggest that they should rent out 42nd Street(1933) or better still Stage Door(1937)- Was this review helpful to you?
