I've never understood how this Sam Raimi film has been overlooked. It's one of his most subtle, yet effective works to date. The story revolves simply around 3 characters who's lives are changed when they find 4 million dollars in a crashed plane. Although there is no trademark Raimi camera wizardy, the acting, pace and tension created means there is never a dull moment from start to finish.

Never trust anyone!
By a customer , 22 Nov 2011What started out as a simple plan just became quite insane and complicated in the end. That's because human nature got in the way!
I liked the relationship between the brothers and all the problems that unfolded as the movie progressed.
The characters just got into more and more trouble and into a deeper pit. The problem was every time they did something they then had to cover it up with something else.
The moral of this tale - if you find a pile of money just walk away!!- Was this review helpful to you?

This is a good night-in movie with anyone.

You are best of watching this movie without knowing the story but the acting is good enough, especially Bill Paxton, to keep you guessing as to how its all going to work out.
Not to sure what Bridgit Fonda is doing in this movie.

echoes of the Coens, but not quite

It tackles the themes of morality and crime doesn't pay. It asks the question how much money will it take for a good man to fall from grace. Certainly tense; certainly satisfying.
