What a reliefBy Pryer (45 reviews) from Newhaven , 19 Jul 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]Thank god for that Eddie has gone back to the way that he used to be not the person he was in tower heist.
A great movie all in all it was extremely funny with a great story line and will keep the kids amused it was so good I could watch it again now.

Feel Good MovieBy kmchapman (27 reviews) , 09 Mar 2013A good film! Eddie Murphy at his best, smooth, easy comedy. A easy watch. Feel good family movie. Really enjoyed it!
Eddie as he should be.By DCM (182 reviews) from Buckinghamshire , 26 Feb 2013I was a bit sceptical about renting an Eddie Murphy movie, the last few I have seen have been well along the lines of disappointing to say the least. But I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance, and I actually really enjoyed this film. A nice watch, with a few laughs and a moral - just what we like! If E. M. continues along these tracks he may well just have himself a well-earned come-back :-)
Not very goodBy eedjok (1 review) , 22 Feb 2013Typical E, Murphy spouting one liners in the hope that 1 is funny. Sometimes he gets it right. The story and plot line is not original either, it must have taken 10 minutes to cobble this together. Avoid
Amusing & easy watching - don't expect an Oscar winnerBy kellerman (14 reviews) from Harrogate , 14 Jan 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]Easy watching bit of fun. Obviously a ridiculous storyline as it's about a magic tree giving Eddie only 1,000 words to say before death - so any reviewer saying it's a silly storyline is a bit daft. Very funny in parts, mildly amusing for the most part. Tells the story well i. e. about the way he's living his life and the changes he should make etc. Worth a watch but don't expect American Pie or some kind of oscar winner.
Pointless waste of neural energyBy Wormy (20 reviews) from Edinburgh , 31 Dec 2012This film will probably get a few laughs from teenagers still lagging behind in the puberty stakes. Beyond that only the intellectually challenged may enjoy it. You are better off googling knock knock jokes to entertain yourself.
