Ok, so I've seen it now, all 60 minutes.

When it first started it took me straight back to my school days when the caretaker would wheel in a huge TV on a trolley with an unnaturally large video player underneath and set it up in front of the class.

This style of schoolchild educational film continued all the way through with a rather young and excited Tommy Boyd narrating.

Unlike the normal style of astronomical documentaries I watch there were no interviews or film clips of any note. This was more like a slide show with T.B. telling you what you were watching.

This is obviously a cheap budget production where lots of images from the likes of N.A.S.A. were cobbled together with a bit of a story.

While I can't really fault the narration, after all, he was only reading out a script, the programme was rather dull and taught me nothing that I didn't already know.

If you have an interest in astronomy then there are plenty of other titles you should watch instead, such as, Cosmos by Carl Sagan or Space with Sam Neil or The Planets or anything else really.
