An interesting film though very slow by modern standards. One felt the maker needed to attend a course on movie construction as more could have been made of its nods to scenes in classic movies. Presenting the entire list of credits and acknowledgments at the beginning of the film was not a good idea. By Oozoid (61 reviews) from Ayr , 30 May 2013It may not be 'Cinema Paradiso' but this has an alluring old world charm. It is not so much 'entertainment' as an aid to meditation upon one's own values. Perhaps worth watching just for the scene in which the projectionist lectures the Law Academy on the ethics of lying.- Was this review helpful to you?

Affectionate Minimal

Useful life, useless film
