Deliciously spooky tale told without the 'benefit' of any special effects whatsoever. Dripping with atmosphere, the scenes of midnight digs, shadowy woods, and eerily deserted beaches (deserted, that is, except for a distant black figure...) conspire to chill the blood.
You have been warned!
I SO wanted to like this, on the face of it it's right up my street - a 70s understated story with a good cast - but somehow it just didnt do it for me. A bit light on story, a bit slow, a bit dull... I struggled through it all, waiting patiently for something that might intrigue me, but ultimately...well, to be frank...nothing really happened...great scenery though...
