    [Highly rated reviewer]

It starts with the credits 'This contains no original AC/DC music'.

    It goes downhill from there.

Rent 'The Bon Scott years' instead, at least it's got some clips.

The title should have warned me - mentioning Brian in a film about Bon. Then the opening message of 'this film contains no orignal material or footage from the band' hmmm, any music documentary which starts like that should be translated as 'don't bother to go any further'. Music In Review - The Bon Scott Years is better -

I guess the title should have warned me - that it was aimed at people who didn't know there was another singer with AC/DC. The second clue was the message at the beginning of the film 'contains no original music or footage of the band', hmmm, means they play a guitar loop throughout which vaguely sounds like them and give a glib history retold through people who have never met them - better to try Music In Review - The Bon Scott Years, also available on Screen Select

This is basically a history of the band though the eyes of Rod Evans (original singer)& various other people. It has no DC music on it,get Family Jewels if thats what your after. It does talk about Angus/Malcolm Young, how the band came together, how the line ups changed, from Rod to Bon,with a incite to Bon previous bands & how the band came from playing in pubs/clubs to stadiums.Worth watching if your a fan or want a different perspective.
