Shobha, loved her two sons equally, maybe she loved Rakesh a little more, even though he was her stepson. Rakesh reciprocated her love equally. He had promised his father on the deathbed, that he would place his mother’s happiness over and above everything else. Naresh, Shobha’s natural son, out of jealousy poisoned her mind to a great extent. When Rakesh was about to marry Paro, the girl he loved, Naresh cunningly, played on his mother’s mind, he also desired Paro. When Shobha asked Rakesh not to marry Paro, Rakesh was thunderstruck. What could he do? He was bound by his promise to his father. What about Paro?
