A must see filmBy Filmon Ka Deewana from Suffolk, England , 02 Aug 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]This film has so truely portrayed the workings of the Mumbai police. It couldn't have been any closer to reality.
From start to finish the film maintains a gripping tempo.
Nana Patekar has proved, once again, that you don't have to have good looks do be good actor. His acting was superb with full marks for expressions and dialogue delivery.
Credit definitely due to the dialogue writer for adding the real street lingo, yet staying within the limitations set by the censor board.
Watch the film, come back and read this review again..... it will all make sense.
DO NOT MISS IT because as soon as the film ends you would wanna watch it all over again... trust me, I'm a critic.

worth watchingBy a customer from scotland , 15 Mar 2007The subtitiles were a bit hard to read but the acting was excellent, the characters believable and the plot was interesting and exciting. A welcome change from cop films set in the US
Brilliant!By medusa from Manchester, England , 15 Dec 2006In a word, brilliant! Nana Patekar puts all the Bollywood stars to shame, such a talent, such an acting...an excellent insight into the the life of police and gangsters and how the distinction lines sometimes become grey. Well written, well acted and well directed, Nana steals the show but credit to rest of the cast who all were so natural with their act. Worth a watch and re-watch...
GreatBy a customer from Southall , 12 Oct 2006A very good film, about police procedures in modern India . Very true to life - the scenery, dialogue, interactions between character - great work all around - not far off from 'Company'
