Unfortunately, this movie isn't half as fun as we'd imagined...

Gloriously Absurd
By a customer , 03 Nov 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
I liked it personally even if it is conceptually daft and won't exactly win Oscars as Speilberg's biopic of the real man probably will. Not as if Abraham Lincoln hasn't been used in weird and wonderful ways before. See 'The Savage Curtain' episode of the original Star Trek.- Was this review helpful to you?

(64)Missed opportunity.
By emperor10 (203 reviews) from newcastle upon tyne , 23 May 2013This was basically a joke stretched into a film..but the joke wasnt there in the first place. Visually, it looked good. Acting was ok, but soon becomes so-so. And it took itself way too seriously. And yes, its to be watched with a pinch of salt, but some scenes were just laughable. Avoid.- Was this review helpful to you?

a little far fetched but good entertainment
By haylesbaylespigstales (130 reviews) from Fleetwood , 19 May 2013I really enjoyed this film, it does what it says on the tin & is in parts a little silly but hey its entertainment in whichever form it comes.
was supposed to see this at the pictures but missed it, think it would have been better on the big screen- Was this review helpful to you?

Silly but entertaining
By GlasgowChris78 (27 reviews) from Kent, England , 18 May 2013The idea is a bit daft and I suspect the only reason the writer chose to use Abraham Lincoln as the titular character was to give the alternate history aspect some credence. That being said, it is a decent piece of entertainment. There are certainly much worse rooms in the vast house of vampire.- Was this review helpful to you?

Doesn't work for me!
By Lizzylou (22 reviews) from Kilgetty , 15 May 2013Couldn't get to grips with this film at all. Wondered why they bothered to make it to be honest, maybe they thought putting Abraham Lincoln as the main character might pull in the viewers, didn't work for me!- Was this review helpful to you?

Silly Wasteful Film
By MrGiles2 (62 reviews) from Middlesbrough , 09 May 2013After a bright start, this rather silly, pointless film distintergrated into a special effects farce. I just could not believe I was actually watching this film. Alright, some of the action sequences were quite well done, but after one such sequence, you then sit back beggaring belief as the great man himself delivers his famous address at Gettysburg. I think the movie makers were taking the mickey here. If you fancy watching a silly pointless special effects farce after a couple of bottles of wine or beer, then this is for you. Serious film watchers, avoid like the plague.- Was this review helpful to you?
