Different, clever and strangely uplifting.
Accidental Hero review

Dustin Hoffman is not my favourite actor. I loathe Woody Allen fumbling and stumbling routines. The plot of 'Accidental Hero'; a parasitic no-gooder stumbling upon an aeroplane accident and becoming a reluctant hero - is improbable, but the cast manages to carry it off. With all the personalities remaining realistically true to their characters right to the end, the story is surprisingly uplifting despite the unrealistic plot. Worth seeing for a little light froth, if you can bear Hoffman's overacted idiocy.
