Accursed Blood

I found this deeply dull. The film is poorly acted, cheaply produced, clumsily directed and with no script to speak off.

This could have been so good, if only it had better actors and the toe-curlingly cheesy *spooky* voices and rubbish effects were dropped!

The odd thing is that in some parts, some of the acting was pretty good (apart from 'Kerry' who was just annoying constantly and such a poor actress I wanted her to be the first to die) but the good parts only lasted for short bursts - the only ones who truly were fairly decent was the bartender and the deaf man at the bar (also look out for the Fosters Lager pump - they'd disguised it for most scenes but in the scene where the bartender is caught unwillingly on camera, it's clearly a Fosters Lager pump).

The hotel itself was good but although this is supposed to be based on a true story, the dire acting and atrocious 'spooky' voices made that claim seem totally unlikely.

Hopefully, one day, someone will remake this but with decent acting and who knows how to set a genuinely spooky atmosphere without the comedy makeup, early 80's naff effects and the pathetic voices that are meant to spook you out - they didn't even make us snigger - just roll our eyes.

Cant believe this is actually a movie, it was a waste of time

What can I say about this film...

It was dull boring the acting was terrible and the storyline was basically non existent don't waste a rental watching this film.

the 'plot' was very transparent, the characterization was shoddy, borrying the cast of scooby doo meets room 1440. This movie could have been made by some pre-grad at movie school, except he would have had better guidence. It was made by someone that borrowed element from other movies and reproduced it badly. That said the acting was poor also. So you gotta wonder how this movie got funding and that there is hope for the others with talent. This is not worth watching to learn from their mistakes as it is obvious.
