fabulous sketch doesn't make a fabulous DVD

Acorn Antiques was the high point of Victoria Wood's sketch show and is still an absolutely wonderful sketch. What it is not however is enough to fill a DVD alone. Viewed back to back the sketches become repetitive and thin - despite the inclusion of the show-stealing programme announcements. It leaves a rather unsatisfying DVD, coming in at just under an hour. Some extras on the DVD would have helped enormously - a 'making of' or interviews with cast would have made this a more satisfying watch.
