Adam And Joe

I'm a big fan of the Adam and Joe Show on 6music so in my search for an Adam and Joe fix in their absence I watched all episodes of the Adam and Joe on 4od. I bought this DVD so that I could have some physical evidence of my A+J devotion and for the extras.

This DVD has the 'best of' all 4 series, meaning that there are only around 13 spots from each series. Considering each series consisted of 6x 25 mins, quite a lot of great clips have had to be left out. However, they seem to have left in the majority of their toy film parodies which are very hit and miss. I would have preferred to see more of things like People Place (A+J spoof condescending daytime TV presenters) and the 80s House.

The extras on this are great - more of 'Vinyl Justice' - a feature where A+J dressed as coppers went round to musicians' houses and interrogated them about their music collections, two documentaries about the escapades of pretentious media mogul Ken Korda, commentary by Adam's dad BaaadDad, and more.

In conclusion, this is a very funny DVD with a lot of content, but personally I would have preferred to see more goofing around from the boys themselves rather than toy parodies.

The adam and joe show was a very funny and great show. this is the best bits of all the series..plus there are LOADS of extras crammed into the dvd. i have this on dvd and have watched it so many time. it is very very funny and great.

Man, this took me back! For those not in the know, this was a tv show, a British TV show, that was very, very funny. This disc is a kind of 'best of' for the show and it's packed with genuis parodies of films/ tv (re-created by various teddies and star wars figures) and other random hilarity.

pmsl glad to see this again had really missed it not being on the screens just love furends such a comedy couple

I always want to squeeze Joe's face.
