I shouldn't really be writing anything about this dire excuse for a film, since I didn't get past 20 minutes into it (and even that was a struggle).

But, Jesus Christ! when Americans try to be clever and camp and funny, it's amazing how thoroughly and conclusively they can miss every single mark.

Absolutely the only thing that can be said in this atrocious film's favour is that it PROBABLY isn't as horrendous an abortion as '200 American', perhaps the worst film ever made, gay or otherwise. But that's still not saying much.

At best, one can feel embarrassed on behalf of those unfortunate creatures involved in this unspeakable dross. Nothing more. Avoid like the plague.

I loved the beginning! How funny was that.

And the whole film itself was pretty good too.

    Feel good gay factor!

  • Laugh Out Loud Funny!

I loved this film. It does exactly what it says on the tin and actually had me Laughing Out Loud on more than one occasion.

Most gay comedys leave me flat, but this was a laugh from the opening disco scene till the end with the straight guy confession.

Two lead men brilliant, 'whenever I show affection in public, some straight guy from Jersey throws a beer bottle' (classic) to Parker Poseys fag-hag with weight problem. A little gem and honestly...those that gave it less than four, well quite frankly, they don't deserve the little fingers god gave them!

I found this movie enjoyable at first but then got bored after a while. Not bad but not great either. Not for everyone.

Very funny story: maximum points for character, writing, acting, setting and scenery & nostalgia. Would be a mainstream hit were it not for the characters' sexuality, a real shame, as most of us can relate to this film in one way or another.
