We returned this dvd as we found we couldn't watch it, the sound was very poor and it kept stopping on it's own accord! Which obviously disappointed the children.....

  • A definate for little girls!!

    Rated - 3.0 stars

This is not THE little mermaid, no Ariel in this one! But it is a great dvd for girls.

Personally I found it boring! But my 7 year old daughter watched it over and over, she loved the stories and magic of it all.

Its not a family film, but if you want to treat your little girl and get some peace during the school hols I would recormend this one!

  • Surprisingly sweet

The animation is pretty decent for a tv production, and although the storylines are terribly predictable the show will probably be great fun for children who don't mind a little fairytale sweetness.

  • Not a bad series but room for improvement

Okay it not disney but I really liked the theme tune. However there was room for improvement especially in animation and character. It was made by Saban the people who gave us the 'Power Rangers' series.

Stick to the Disney version better animation, story telling and the mermaid in Saban, Marina needs to be a bit more independent, as its too lovey dovey (sickeningly so)
