A heart-warming, tear-jerking tale
The best thing I've seen in ages
As the parent of an autistic child this film seemed very close to the experiences I feel as a parent. Having tried unsuccessfully to explain to friends and family what life is like as a parent of a child with ASD I simply now say to watch this film.
A nice, heartwarming film but the first 30 minutes are as close a representation of life for a family with a child with autism as you are likely to see.
I rented this after watching it on its first airing on TV, the story of a normal family coming to terms with the diagnosis of their autistic son and the reactions of the family and friends. It was thought provoking and would be worth a watch not only by parents in this possition but as a worthy drama, with a happy ending as such .
