The Sleeping Murder will keep Miss Marple fans wide awake.

The Sleping Murder contains an impressive array of colourful, quirky characters played out by a talented cast. The idyllic English coast where the story is set forms a terrific backdrop and the story itself is suspenseful, intriguing, sometimes even creepy and will keep you guessing as to the identity of the culprit right to the very end.

However, there are a lot of characters to remember and keeping track of their relationships with each other can be difficult at times and some people might be annoyed by some of the historical innacuracies in the film.

But overall it is fun to watch.

    Sleeping Murder

This DVD bears only a passing resemblance to the book written by

Agatha Christie. It departs so far from the original story I bagan to

wonder if the murderer would be changed?! The Joan Hickson

    version is vastly superior.
