Not classic Christie but not that bad

If you take this at face value you might find you rather enjoy it. Just dont try to compare it with Joan Hicks portrayal of Jane Marple in the 1980s. These are two different birds- Was this review helpful to you?

(7)Agatha Christie's Miss Marple - The Murder at the vicarage
By a customer from York, England , 20 Mar 2010A fantastic Miss Marple! As classic Marple/Christie, you are kept guessing to the end. Everyone has secrets, many have motives, so its down to Miss Marple to sift through this to find the culprit. Some wonderful humour between the Police Inspector and Marple. Country village life is wonderfully portrayed and beautifully contrasted with grizzly murder! One of my favourites.- Was this review helpful to you?

the murder at the vicarage
By a customer from Newark , 09 Oct 2008Quite a long story, but also in the world of today it was also VERY PC, which was pleasant to see and did nothing to deter the viewer. The story is very good and as always keeps you guessing, the end of the story actually lets you know how many sad people there are out there and PRECISELY what they will do to get what they want. Good Show What !!- Was this review helpful to you?

Very Enjoyable
By TheKeeper (30 reviews) from Newmarket , 22 May 2008Another Classic Christie story featuring the new Miss Marple in the guise of Geraldine McEwan.
Some great cameos not least from Derek Jacobi and Stephen Tompkinson as Inpsector Slack. Nice Twist at the end and very enjoyable to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?
