LOW BUDGET BUT TOP CLASS WW2 BRIT FLICK

Yes its low budget but how often do you get to see a British WW2 film. Sean Bean does a good job of making this film look better than its budget. Its a really good rent and quite a change from the American approach to WW2. The ending seems to have been rushed abit but still a good Sunday afternoon flick.- Was this review helpful to you?

interesting movie
By denis007 (133 reviews) , 09 Mar 2013The only reason I watched this movie is because of Ian Fleming's story. Fascinating but a bit short. I think the director could have elaborated a bit on this one. A bit unbalanced too! The final scenes could have been a bit longer, especially the escape to Sweden. Did the Germans try to stop them? It is not explained at all! I can hardly believe no one tried to stop them. Anyway, it is a very intersting story that deserves to be known to the World War 2 fan public and the others if they enjoy such adventurous movies.- Was this review helpful to you?

Age of Heroes and Good Film Watching!

It might not be considered 5-star by most and i would actually agree that it has its bad moments but this is a great watch for someone looking for a good WWII film from a british perspective (for a change). Lets face it ladies and germs, it's so very hard to go wrong when lovely Sean Bean is on the screen!- Was this review helpful to you?
