Personally I thought this was a brilliant film, although some would disagree. Yes it can be confusing with the names and the gang tiers but please stick with it as I think it?s very rewarding and also a slightly different take on the usual Takeshi films and mild in comparison to some of his other work. Some have asked the relevance on the love story in this film and I think it is an important but simple factor, the honour and loyalty that lives through this film in some of the characters is something to be hold.
Plus having to sit watch Masaya Kato for over two hours is very rewarding in itself!!!
Very complicated. Not a pringles and a crate of stella sort of a movie. Really enjoyed it even though I had to start again after an hour due to deep confusion. Not too sure what happened, but lots of very angry Yakuza people seem to take a dislike to one another and generally do a lot of killing. There are some great tattoos and a kaliedoscope. I strongly suggest you watch it - probably about 3 times.
