Watch it - laugh and watch it again. Al really has his moments and is really on the ball throughout the show. I only wish I had seen it live!
Don't watch if your French, German, Austrailian ermm just kidding - but if you lack a sense of humour (especially if you're from the above) don't watch this.
Nice to see a comic interacting with the audience to such a large extent.
Another quality live show from Al Murray in the guise of his alter ego, the staunchly patriotic Pub Landlord. Plenty of audience participation and humiliation, as the Landlord peforms quick thinking improvisation on the audience's jobs, names, nationalities etc, and concludes with a Q and A session, where he gives the audience the chance to turn the tables. Baddiel and Skinner, eat your heart out - it's this fella that should be doing an unplanned series. The lengthy routine with the big globe where he goes from country to country right round the world is both clever and hilarious. I'll definitely go to see him live (missed him before Xmas) but I'll make sure I sit at least 20 rows back - the man is ruthless!
