(37)Aladin 2, The return of Iago
By AnnaPhil (4 reviews) , 12 Dec 2011Was not expecting a sequel to a great film to be so bad. I know it's a childs film, but it almost seemed like they had gone for a younger target audience. Really bad songs, too much emphasis on the talking parot. Perhaps they rushed it a little because the first was such a success.- Was this review helpful to you?

Aladdin2 the return of jafar
By letish (6 reviews) from chepstow , 21 Jun 2011I can only tell you what my children have said. They don't like it! Especially after they saw and liked the first one.Apparently the music different, the animation was different.Possibly the 2nd movie doesn't always live up to expectations.- Was this review helpful to you?

Lame, derivative, cash-in.
By Sleekweasel (6 reviews) from Cambridge , 18 Nov 2009While Disney aren't known for deep plot lines, the first Aladdin wasn't bad. This sequel is almost a pastiche, with anodyne heroes, songs with no body, and 'baddies' with no reason to be bad. Except Jafar, who fails to exhibit any of his strategic cunning from the first film.
Waste of postage.- Was this review helpful to you?
