The first Bollywood film I have watched in a number of years and the production values have improved greatly. The cinematography and the CGI in this film are very good. The plot is a modern retelling of the fairy story we all know. However the script writer never makes his mind up whether this is a fantasy, a comedy or a romantic film and as a result the plot suffers. The cast leave a lot to be desired generally they fail to make you care enough about the characters. However Amitabh Bachchan us superb as the genie and out acts everyone.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer , 11 Apr 2013Only got half an hour through, actually couldn't cope with any more without smashing my head against a wall. Nothing made sense, nothing was explained, the dances weren't even good - I just spent the entire half hour completely bemused.- Was this review helpful to you?

Whats not to like? this film is ace! The ending could have been better and not everything makes logical sense, but hey that's Bollywood and it certainly brings a smile to your face all the way through.- Was this review helpful to you?
