    Domestic Trauma

    I like Alan Davies especially as the magician cum detective in the "Jonathan Creek" series. However this forray into stand up is marred by one serious problem. Too much time in the green room before the show! In this example he looks and sounds drunk for most of the first 45 minutes. It doesn't help to improve his performance in the least, although he does seem to sober up a bit later on.

    A real wasted opportunity for all concerned, some good material was rendered silly by the sloppy delivery. See what you think by all means, is he drunk or stoned? The DVD is pretty short running as well, I would not have been happy had I bought a ticket, and been in the audience for this recording! Not recommended.

    One of the most painful experiences ever.

    It took me days for my chest pains to stop. This, left my side in tatters. Amazing gags like a New-Zealandic man, who can't pronounce his vowels. 'Could I have some Felaffel?'

    - 'Oh! Flffl!' And the anti-british australian.

    'You're always moanin' aren't ya. Moanin, n whingin and moanin and whingin, ya neva stop, mooooaaaanin and whiiiiiiingin.'
