  Veteran actress and singer Cher has had her theme tune removed from the re-make of 1960s classic Alfie. Audiences at test screenings reportedly burst into laughter as it started playing over the closing credits to the new version of the movie. The original 1966 version, starring Michael Cain as the eponymous love rat, had its theme song - What's it all about, Alfie - sung by Cher and she had consented to re-record the track for the new version.
