  Brand's Arthur lands a director

  Moviemaker Jason Winer has signed on to try and turn Russel Brand into beloved boozy socialite Arthur in a remake of the hit 1981 comedy. Dudley Moore played Arthur in the original, which was directed by Steve Gordon, who also wrote the script.
